If you lower it loads, your wheels will rub like nothing on earth, unless you put some work in. e.g tubbing

I'd like to see some more with 10" wheels? How far can you go without ripping open the bottom of the car!?

Pretty much as low as you can go on 12 inch wheels and standard height arches.

You will need very very stiff dampers for it not too scrub. At this height, the car cannot go over speed bumps, kerbs, and the exhaust clamp catches on cats eyes.

The ride is so stiff that a couple of friends don't get in. Car is in the garage at the moment and I adjusted it higher today. Also, lower does not automaticly= better handling.

This car has absolutly no give in it. It's on coilovers with a vaux engine and the wrong springs are in it. The suspension arms are sitting on the subframe. It hurt.

Git was on rails... never experienced handling like it... left my Coopersport for dead.

So what is the best way to lower a mini? I was going to get upgrade shocks and trumpets on mine; is this the way to go as lowering goes or is there a better way?

Thanks ross
