looking forward to seeing some pic's of this build ;) ,martin any reason why you ditched the exup valve?im a bit rusty with my bikes as it's been a few years but did'nt yamaha design it to improve the power curve of the engine?i know the exup valve has been around since the 80's(fzr1000/750 genesis) and considering it's still being used on the R1 would mean it actually does what it was designed for :D ,by the way roofless is a work of art

Looks absolutely class, loving the red interior.

What happened with the ram pipes/socks?

Where did you get ur cf roof from?

Cheers

decided not to run ram pipes as needs a sensor in airbox, thought it might upset engine management running from one intake, though would of looked much better, carbon roof came from tdk racing, have flatted roof back ready for a coat of laquer to uv protect it, very pleased with fit and finish of roof, much better than i expected, and it feels just as ridgid as steel roof

Thanks man.

Got my kit just before christmas, it's no. 32, a black frame from a cancelled order - going to go for the 5JJ for ease - can you use ram pipes on that as it's not injected, agree would look far better?

Met up with Dave K a couple of years ago and got some doors, arches and grp front with a-panels, all fits well and top bloke - will the roof still show the weave after the work you described? - the carbon weezel one looks amazing but heck of a lot of cash?

Cheers

Al

yep, still see weave, only clearcoat on top, and yes i dont think carb models will have the air sensor in airbox, and wiring be easier mine proving to be a pain at minute, my wiring feller on round the world trip, back middle of january though so soon be sorted
