My alloys are in pretty poor condition to say the least, has anyone had their wheels refurbished?

I was thinking of getting them done but its around £120! (Quotes for 4 wheels). So I then thought I could just buy a new set. However the alloys are special RSP alloys so it might be worth refurbing them.

Has anyone had their wheels refurbed?

How much was it?

Were you happy with the result?

I have seen the "do it yourself" method but it seems like a bad idea to me.

£30 a wheels is quite cheap as refurbs go. But if they are RSP and you are keeping it to standard spec it mite be worth having it done.

funny you should mention that. I am redoing my "rims" right now actually. just the plain old 10x3.5 at the moment but they were so rotten from sitting that long the tires had fused to the rims. well i sandblasted em and am going to paint em up in a couple weeks so will post before during and after pics when i'm done.
