Doing a budget upgrade on the 850, I received a small bore lcb to go with a tricked out head and some other stuff. but my problem is that the center branch hits the rubber part on the drive shaft yoke thingy.
Now granted the rubber part looks as if it was the origonal piece fitted in 1965 and looks to be swollen and semi shredded on the top, but what are my options for getting this all to fit properly. And on a budget.
Then just for ******* and giggles, whats the non budget appropriate way to make it work...
850 + LCB = rubbing on rubber yoke thingies

Jee thanks Siggy...
Anyway.. As far as I'm aware LCB's are not designed to go past the crucifix type joint, hardy spicers and Pot joints are narrower, and given there is not too much in the way of space down round the diff houding at the best of times it may just be a case of a tight fit...
You may have to heat and bend the pipe ot of the way...
Most of the time its down to fitment and tiral and error... As long as the bottom of the pipe is solidly fixed to the gearbox case and is not touching the rotating parts then it will be ok..

LCBs were actually designed for QH joints, problem is newer ones are not made as accurate as the originals
