I would like to know if anybody is using a heater in their cars?
For those who aren't how bad is fogging of windows in humid days?

Cheers

I am using a heater - and you could cook burgers under it when the engine is up to full temp :)

nice sill stiffners, and a tidy job in the boot / trunk with the fuel cell. :)

In my quest to save weight I Ebayed the heater a couple of years ago. It was never a daily car so not having a heater made no difference. I did have Poly windows though which seemed to reduce misting on colder days and when it was damp.

So the whole project was delayed due to wrong choice of bodyshop. Car sat there for 1 month and the only thing that was done was deskinning of the doors.
Found a new bodyshop, the owner owns and has a passion for minis therefore can appreciate the whole project.

here are some more pictures, some detailed pictures of the body work will follow shortly.

I have been away from home so did not have time to make progress on the built, with renovations on the house also currently undergoing, the project will take a major time setback.

Here are the latest bodywork updates: purchased the side skirts for the sportpack arches from PL minis and as for any fiberglass component you can't expect it to fit perfectly that is why they will be moulded to the arches for a better finish.
Also reinforced the fenders after trimming to fit the arches.

Looking good man, I am in BC and look forward to seeing the progress. Did you get the promotive kit from a canadian distributor?

Thanks!

Kit was purchased directly from Pro-Motive, no issues with shipping to Canada. Hope to see more this side of the pond.
Are you planning on building one yourself?

Merci,

Je ne vois pas pourquoi si tout est conforme et securitaire tu ne change pas l'emplacement du moteur et la motricité, ça devrait être correct, mais au Quebec on sait jamais...

Finally made some progress after not much happening in the last few weeks.

Here is some work on the firewall, dash shelf and exhaust tunnel (made wider for clearance to fit the Exup valve)
