I have just bought a mini and my scuttle has the usual rust spots and is in need of renewal. The problem is my front wings seem like new but i have been told that you can't renew the scuttle with the wings in place.

Has anyone come across this problem and if so what did you do?

It is possable to get repair panels for the ends of the scuttle and these can be fitted with the wings inplace, if the corosion is limited to these areas .
