Got a 98 Cooper SportsPack - Noticed that the oil temp gauge doesnt seems to move much; if at all sometimes.
Anyone know the average oil temp for my car? its hovering about 50-60' - is this normal? or is my gauge faulty?
Checked my oil - no probs there!

The highest I ever had it was 100 degrees ish, when doing 100mph.
