Battery constantly draining

Basically if I don't drive my mini for a day, the next day the battery will be dead!

It's a very very old battery, and it's taken a bit of a beating over the years, so should I just buy a new one? Maybe heavy duty so this'll never happen again?

It's probably the best route anyway - the Optima OrangeTop batteries are heavy duty and rugged.
