Remember when I said on the way back from Germany when in traffic queing for the Dartford Tunnel, my clutch suddenly went light and started to creak, with the biting point moving right to the bottom? Well here's why:

The arm has actually broken. I might try to claim a warranty from Morspeed, but if I'm honest its my fault. I was in traffic, using the clutch a lot, the engine was overheating anyway so things under there were hotter than they should have been, and I don't think I greased the arm enough when I first put it in the plunger in the clutch cover. And been as though a new arm is only £12 I think I'll just buy a new one.

At least it wasn't the diaphragm or clutch plate, both of which seem fine!

no it happened whilst I was driving. Got it home ok, and have moved it a couple of times since then. I'm lucky as it hasn't damaged the plunger, so its just a new arm and jobs a good'un
