You can't use those wheels! No way... They are so ugly...
Give them to me, I bin them for you!
Only joking... The most beautifull 13" wheels ever madee!
Nice work! I like seeing someone doing it a different way and not buying a kit
Cheers,
Jan

Thank guys. The placement of the engine and diff etc. will be the biggest job now the frame and rear suspension setup has almost been finished. Looking forward to it though.
@ Jan: Black Forest... As in Germany...? No wonder you like these wheels!
I have three sets (of 4) now, if you would like one set I might have one set spare. These are the 6j ET13 ones.

Another update. The Mini is back on four wheels again. 10 inchers in front for now, but its getting there. Everything seems to be perfectly aligned.
Here you can see the actual width of the Mini.
Can still be used for the weekly shopping trip.
The construction is very visible in these pictures. Ofcourse, most of the construction is not properly welded yet.
Next step will be moving the Mini to another garage in January, after that the engine can be fitted.
As for the colour. I am pretty sure that the car will not be matt black as I previously wanted. Cage will still be gloss orange. I have a few ideas concerning the definitive colour, but not sure yet:
Yamaha blue:
Kawasaki green:
Nissan Skyline blue (e.g. R34):
Gloss black:
Or maybe Tenorite Grey as used by Mercedes:
Any suggestions concerning the choice of colour or concerning the build are welcome.
