i wondering if it is worth changing to an electric fuel pump and if it is which one should iget and do i need to change anything else in order to have an eltroic fuel pump.
I am sorry ofr all the question just trying to learn

There are good and bad points about each pump type. Electric pumps are noisy, and temperamental. On the other hand, if a mechanical pump's diaphragm fails it can fill your crank case with gasoline. If a car isn't driven frequently its float bowls can go dry. An electric pump will fill the bowls before you use the starter... but a mechanical pump will only require a second or two on the starter to do the same.
The mechanical pump is hard to get to when it fails... but if you are ever in a serious accident, the engine is likely to stop... which stops the fuel pump. In these circumstances the electric pump typically keeps working... creating a fire hazard. It's hard to add interlocks to shut a pump off to address such situations.
