hi guys, i wondered if you would be able to tell me what differentials you use in your bike converted mini's?
as we are going to need something similar we are converting a smart car to run with electric motors as a university project.
all information would be much appriciated.

i was using a mini quaife ATD in mine, in a custom differential casting (promotive)

just go to westgarage.co.uk and go to the section chain drive, its a very good website and gives you a very good idea what you are heading towards.
if not have a look on some of the locost forums they talk alot about sierra diffs and of course now the freelander diff.
you looking to go open diff or lsd ?

personally i would be looking at a open diff not sure if the rest of the group agree but it aint going to have a great deal of power from 2 electric motors lol
