Hi everyone, been having a root round and a clear out.
Found a Rover 1300 eng, complete with rod change and gearbox.
My auto cad says they were made between 1968-1974 with 70 bhp!
Came from an austin, with 40,000 miles. will need a few bits to get running-thermostat housing(all the studs are fine)-dizzy cap-heater valve.
I'm not really clued up on engines and their potential not sure how uch it could fetch, or were to start asking for it. I've heard they are of reasonable interest for performance but i'm unsure.
The engine was fine when it came out, and has been given the once over after it's slumber!
I'd love it if someone could shed a little light on this engine, and i'm open to offers if it doesn't turn out to be something cool! Ha!
Thanks

A lot more if it was out of a 1300GT, but it's just a regular 1300... 9 stud head, rather than 11...

I'll give you £20 for the gearbox...
