I had a blowing Manifold today so I decided to swap the Manifolds over on my 2 minis. While I was at It, I swaped the thermostats too because the one on my road mini was fecked.

Took the Thermo housing bolts out no probs. Changed thermo, Put bolts back in.

The last bolt to put in (The back one) and it snaped off. :nugget:

I grinded the remains of the stud off, and drilled it out. Tapped a new hole, but now the bolt dosent tighten. it just gets so tight, then slips.

the other 2 are solid though.
So Ive got tools to fix it and a few litres of water in the car if it goes. But its been good all day as it is.
It Isnt leaking or anything, Is the 2 bolts enough to hold it on safely?
