Getting my mini back after a year long resto, lots of minis being nicked in London I think, just wondering what people use for security? Alarm, steering wheel lock? Any advice?

An answer to this question would be very beneficial to many members as I too have the same dilemma. (Sorry 'THEFUNKYDUCK I'm not trying to high-jack your thread.)
Just wanted to give a quick input.

A Disklok is a big deterrent. Also it's Thatcham approved so it's got to be good. I have one.

sadly nothing will stop it getting nicked in some places

as people will come along with a flat bed and just drive it away so to speak

unless you chain the mini to the floor haha

could use one of those rings they moor ships to and concreat it into your drive or on the street out side and so on....

Then weld a nice big ring on bottem of your mini and all you need a big padlock and chain

sorted! and bet the wouldent figure it out
