i wanted to look at the different tones of grey on a mini, i am very keen on grey and silver especially gun metal colours, pictures please

Just had mine resprayed stornaway grey - its a landrover colour they use on the defenders and range rovers. It's not quite finished yet but heres sum piccys
I'd always liked the colour and before it was grey was dark blue with white roof and white stripes so totally different but Im really chuffed with it.

Altogether with 70hrs labour and the specialist paint which cost 400quid it was 1200 altogether.... Not too bad really, ahd rediculous quotes of over 2k!

My dad knew the chap through a friend so he did it for mates rates. Why whats the normal price?

Rosco454! that mini was a mini world cover star not that long ago!! i cant believe it was sold! any idea what sort of pric it went for as it was mint! its a full race spec mini with the comfort of a normal mini!! it even had NOS thats what the holes are for under the front windscreen its where the purge valve spits out from! and the holes in the bonnet are so air can be dirrectly fed to the oil cooler!
god i would have loved to have owned that!!
