okay so i'm just wondering after I've completed the restoration of my mini this year how much it would be worth if I was ever to sell it (which i probably won't, will be an old granny still driving it round lol) and so I got a rough idea for insurance. I have some current pictures of it but it is not quite finished.

Any ideas would be much appreciated ;)

Its a 1979 Mk3 Austin Mini,

Engine:
1275cc metro engine taken from an F reg metro (60k miles)
Stage 1 kit; 2 1/2" full centre exhaust bore system
Recently had a full service; new oil filter, oil change, new spark plugs, distributer cap, coil etc etc etc
Chrome rocker cover and chrome t bars
Under bonnet and bulk head sound proofing
Engine weather shield

Running Gear:
About to put Mini Discs on front instead of drums
Minisport rear minifin drums
Brand new 7x13 superlight alloys with new tyres
Tracking has recently all been set up
Quick shift gear stick
New trach rod ends
New battery
New starter motor

Bodywork:
One month old respray and has been kept in garage since(Stornaway metalic grey) (previously been fully restored in 2005)
70hrs labour by garage on body work - plus hours we put in ourselves
Mtech arches and body skirts - brand new
RGM front bumper
Clear indicator lens and rear lens covers
New grille (not in pictures yet)
All painted and wax oiled underneath and under arches
No rust or welding needed at all (finally after so much work lol)
Chrome rear bumper
Chrome petrol cap
Chrome mirrors
Chrome windscreen wipers and washers

Interior;
New grey rooflining
Metro GT seats with black leather effect seat covers
Centre console with Pioneer 2009 model CD player
Bluetooth hands free kit
Mobile phone holder
Speaker board under seat, JBL 6x9 speakers
Classic centre speedo
Black dash board
Black door cards with chrome handles etc
Chrome rear view mirror
Dark grey carpets over full interior sound proofing
Full boot liner kit in dark grey
Chrome foot pedals
Chrome and black mountney steering wheel

Wouldnt mind having an idea how much its worth after 2 restorations, 3 resprays and the amount of work and effort gone into it

:)

Heres some current pictures, will post some up when its all complete:

I'd put it in the 2-3k private sale bracket....

when he previous doors were twisted it must have twisted the flitch/hinge panel, as that door has a bit of a gap at the bottom.

very nice car though, i'd estimate £2.5k-£3k

Ah right - the door got damaged on the other side, has always been like it on this side - will have a look at it tomorrow though - cheers ;)
