I have them on both my mini's....and yes they do not fit well, (but bought new full gaskets for standard lights)
As for the Red bits I've used double sided tape (very small strips) to hold in place.
The indicators I've used silvertech bulbs (look silver but glow amber), you can also use LED(clear cluster but glow red) stop & tail bulbs if you don't want the Red bit in.
The Reflectors I've cut the plastic bracket off and stuck them to the bottom corners of my boot lid.
I'm happy with mine as they look different.

Do they leak?
Do the silvertek bulbs shine bright enough? mine didn't and had to remove them :erm:
So these aren't actually much different to the super clear clusters, the only difference is that the red bit has been stuck in?
to be honest I may just stick my normal clear lenses back on and buy the l.e.d. shine red bulb.

Yes the do leak, but only if we've had very heavy rain, I've dried them out once since fitting them new standard gaskets (not the silly strips that was supplied)
The silver bulbs there is other makes out there which are RUBBISH (we sent these back to supplier) the only one's we sell are called SILVATEC which shine bright.
Hope this is some help to you all, like I said I happy with them after abit of giggery pokery.
