If you'd have stayed original with your resto, you'd be looking at £3 - 4k. As is, I'd say £2000-ish.

Source: I run the National Mini Designer Register :) A mint, original Designer is at the top end of £4k to possibly £5k and they fetch far more in original trim, bless them.

Whoever gives this one a new home, please ask them to register with us. :xxx:

Haha i was expecting someone to come saying i should have restored her to original :P.
But at the time i was only like 14 and that wasnt really what i had in mind, and the condition she was in at the time it would have cost alot more to restore her to standard.
She didnt have the orginal bumpers or light surrounds, wheel arches or anything at the time, but i do still have the seats, door cards, steering wheel and badges, Unfortunatly i had to remove the designer decals when she was resprayed :xxx:, but yeah i love her the way she is, even if she isnt as she came out of the factory, atleast i saved her from being scrapped :).

The fact you kept this little lady on the road is good enough for me, I was just advising accordingly as I know a fair amount about Designers as you might expect lol :)

We have quite a few 'non-standard' ones onboard the register, they weren't a popular Ltd Ed so most people took them as donors and did their own thing. It's only now, with the increasing rarity, that they're starting to cost money rather than peanuts. Personally, I'm not fussed, a Designer is still a Designer even if it's been painted purple and orange and it's still as welcome as a 'thoroughbred' one. :xxx:

Yeah  to be fair with a little bit of work it could be put back to pretty orginal, the only hard part would be putting standard wheel arches back on.
But with some brackets the bumpers could be put back on, and the orignal light surrounds, grill and door cards and steering wheel and all could be put back on. The roof could be sprayed black and some decals added, it is still a designer at the end of the day, but at the time i didnt have a clue about the whole limited editions stuff and that it would have been worth more, live and learn hey haha.
Just out of curiostity where do you think the best place to put it up for sale would be? Just on here or is there a for sale section on a proper limited edtion mini website or in mini world or something? I honestly havent a clue where to even start, apat from this thread ofcourse lol.

Try the Mini mags - Mini World / Mini Magazine. Autotrader and any other Classic Car mags too, most have a For Sale Section, even try your local free papers and eBay
