I want to get me some bonnet straps to do away with the bonnet catch.

I presume to attatch them i'll have to drill holes in the bonnet and bolt them on? and attatch somewhere on the inside also?

What would you guys recommend then? Two... of which, not too expensive.

I like the Italian Job ones which go over the whole bonnet

Those look really good! Also the smaller brown straps can look good, put on at an angle.

Yeah i was thinking that... what if i decide i dont like them.. chance im going to take though!

Its either that or bonnet pins?

:cool: Did you see the cover car on the september issue of mini mag?

That had one of the little ones offset on the front of the bonnet, i thought it looked really cool! :grin:

No, its mainly functional....

I didnt see that magazine no, but the one that made me decide was the November 2004 magazine cover... two straps on the bonnet, looked smart!

Can you get bonnet pins that lock into place so that thieving scum bags cant help themselves?

Only ive had some little scallywags nick my dustcaps recently... damn thieves! why cant they leave other peoples property alone!

I believe you can get a type of DZUS that locks now...I'll see if I can find it...
