At a guess id say hes drilled it into one of the inner cross members of the bonnet but im probably wrongbungle, ave u got a closer pic of how uv put ur strap on? how have u done it?

one end of the strap is fixed to the underside of the bonnet lip and the other side fixed to the bit under the bonnet and goes in to the engine bay and out throw the top grill slat
if that makes sence or i will take some pics

Yup, that makes sense!i did'nt want to put any holes in the bonnet so -

The only problem I have with springs is I can see them rubbing on the curve of the bonnet...

I'll put some carbon patches underneath.... something from the mountain bike world, used to stop the cables rubbing through the frameRivets?
