any ideas what a 22G333 cooper S box is worth? its fully rebuilt ...

put it this way the case will sell for between 2 and 300, so fully rebuilt around 1k I would reckon...

thanks for that info.
the Gent who owns it paid £1500 to have it rebuilt here at a mini specailist in Zufikon (what a muppet)
and he wanted to PX it for some parts to that value.

Feck me what did they use gold bearings ?

Trade-in value I'd say about 4-500, you have to protect yourself....

I know some one who paid a similar amount to a famous Vauxhall tuner/ race preparation company for a gearbox rebuild on his Chevette. It broke halfway up the first practice run of its first hillclimb.

No, and it has the Rubber type drive shaft couplings,
