Thx for the tip, Woody. Haven't had chance to do anything about the blooming as yet - weather's been out to get me the last few weekends - Still, all being well it'll be wash, rinse, brasso, rinse again & wax this weekend. *Crosses fingers*

The only way that your paint work has bloomed is if the bodyshop has used cellulose lacquer or cellulose solid colour, in the 24 years that I’ve been painting I’ve never seen 2K bloom.
You’re saying that the defect in the paint work is in the corner of your panels, this is where the body shop has missed that area when they have been buffing the panels.
Spraying in damp conditions will also cause micro blistering (very small pin head sized dots) which appear when cold and disappear when warm.
