more than certainly gonna be a charity run.
looking at around 50 cars if we're lucky to be honest lol.
but even then, its a start ;)

gonna see if highways could let us stop on the bridge and have a few photo's and what not, i mean, they've closed the bridge for sillier things before >.<.

if not then charity banner and as many minis as poss from under the bridge.
as for fund raising, sposor forms could be a possiblity. a donation bucket of somkind could be at the meeting point or may put charge of say like 5 pounds per car and proceeds willl go to the laura crane :D

also thinking about making it a yearly thing, changing the charity each time :xxx:

suggestions are mostly welcome :P

laura crane trust said there willing to too.
had go ahead from the head herself and she would like to see me woop lol.
but yeah.
how shall we get the donations?
charge per car? per person?
sponser forms?
donations?
or what?
i have no idea?!
also you think getting some little car stickers made to buy for people taking part and what not would be a good idea too?

hi we will sort out the stickers if it helps just let us know the layout and the colours, call me again on 0753 4032826 and it will be sorted.

this would be a great idea, theres a nature reserve car park in barton on the south side, maybe south meets north in middle for photo then all meet up for display on north side, nearly always has 1 lane closed so maybe they could close 1 lane and have mini's from 1 end to other, this would be a good publicity event so should be able to find some good sponsors maybe

far ing's nature reserve?
yes, would be a smashing idea, though i dont think a nature reserve would like so many mini's there haha.

If there's a limit on how
many minis we can have I will definatly be one of them
would be happy to pay to take part aswell

if you email miniworld and minimag they should be able to help you out
show them this topic aswell to show there's interest

isn't there a guy on here from one of the mags?

Sounds great :D

I'll summon up the troops as Trent Valley MOC is based in Lincolnshire, so we'll come along and give you our support

Just need to have an idea of dates so that we don't get double booked - pleeese pleeese try not to make it April 18th or June 20th as they're the dates of our Lincoln BIG and Normanby Hall Mini Days :P

I'm showing my age now but I can remember The Humber Bridge being built - my Dad even got to climb up to the top of the south tower - eeek

If you need any help with anything seeing as I'm local to the event, just let me know

Rach :D

i will deffinitely be up for this if im off work if you speak to the bridge people they might shut a lane off for it and let us do it for free as its a charity event not sure but its worth an ask and then it could be £5 per car and have donation bucket at the toll bridges for the day or something so anyone using the bridge that day can donate

haha going grey yet rachel? :D

as for closing the lanes and what not i have no idea, as ive said before meeting with people from the laura crane trust and they'll help with getting clearences and what not.
though the one of the people working for them is the missus's auntie so that helps lol.
