Put them in a kick board instead of 6x9's.

will an 8" sub fit? 6x9 subs cost a fortune.

Didn't know you could get 6x9 subs? Thats news to me. And yes 8's should fit fine.

Sorry to be a pain, but does anyone have pictures? I'm fed up of my amped 6x9's, they produce good bass, but the woes with the amplifier are infuriating. Plus i don't think the 6x9's like being used as subs.

EDIT: Also, is it wise to install two 8 " subs when the only mid and high range frequency is coming from two 6x9's in the parcel shelf? Or am i looking at getting component installs in the front too?

Thats the cheapest 12" sub i can find running of a 600 watt amp and i still have to have the bass on -1 on the head unit. The bass is more than enough for me lol

heres mine, custom made small speakerboard for under the seats, and removed the bottom cushioning of the rear bench, with a carpeted double 12" box and two 275w rms (1100w peak) jbl woofers, powered by a 250w alpine amp, with nice tidy wiring, and the power that puts out for a little amp is astonishing, if i leave the music on with my car on the drive, and pop into my garage, the garage rattles, and thats only at relatively low volume


its great for motorway journeys too, its like having a massage seat
