I want to fit 10s but my friend thinks that smaller wheels are bad for handling compared to bigger wheels bigger breaks. sombody please give me some ammo, i think it wont make much difference.

oh they will either be 13 x 7 or 10 x 6.

10s would be fiesta conversions and 13s would be standard 8.4s.

thanks

minis handle better on small wheels. i wouln't ever have another mini on 13's just seems to take the edge off the go kart fun.

As above. The mini was designed to run on 10 inch wheels. So it goes in hand that the handling is better when you run what the car is designed to run. Got 10's on mine and wouldn't change it for the world.

if i had to choose out of those two i'd say wellers but then it depends what, 1, style of the car and 2, your taste

The universal opinion is that Minis drive nicer on 10s, as already mentioned by Bobo the Mini was designed to run on 10s no to mention the lower unsprung weight, oh and 10s are so much cooler!

10s for sure.
But dont take our work for it. Find a local mini club, start a conversation on the subject and i am sure that in no time you will be taken out in one mini with 10s and another with 13s and then you can see for yourself.

I have had a couple of minis on 13s, and one on 10s. Given the choice, It would always be 10s. My next project due to start soon, will be going on 10s
