News: the engine should be with me next week! (i'm like a kid at xmas) chris is waiting on a few things to come back to him and also the engine block will be the same colour to my mini hopefully, as close as possible anyway. so i imagine that will be my next big update.

i think iv done ok there, as its not the easiest thing to paint and with it running and dripping it gets aggrivating.
also iv took the dash and clock surrounds off as i am gonna get a peronalised dash made by mr roofless hopefully.

some updating, got the crankshaft in and was going round lovely and smooth, put the pistons in and connected them up and after it was all torqued up, it decided to lock up so iv now taken all the pistons off and still doesn't want to turn over, bit confused as to why this, is so il take off all the main bearings and re grease them up and tighten back down see if that solves it, but it really wont budge at all atm. apart from that not much as its been so cold n miserable in my shed and i dont want any moisture gettiing in.

ok went out this morning and torqued up all the big ends and then the crank wouldnt move again, took off the conrod ends and drowned it in more oil and put em back n but it still is very tight, anyone got any suggestions as to why?

thanks, yh i can't wait t get it all timed in and running sweet, just a little concerned with how tight its turning over, its drowning in oil but still need to put the pulley nt n to get it to move, iv stripped and put it back twice but still stiff.
