If I bought one of those from you then what would I need to buy to fix it in place?

just bond it on with some tiger seal

Surely there is a better way than gluing it to your dash/heater. >_<

I'm still amazed by the apparent number of people willing to pay good money to restrict acces to their switches and heater controls ...

Id much rather have door pockets with cup holders in, You can buy them from Mini Delta in japan, who also sell these cup holders, along with ones with an added coin bin. Its a real shame you cant get them in the UK, as im sure if they where a reasonable price they would be extremely popular! :/

Even if you can get them at £55 in Japan you still have to get them posted, not easy or cheap unless you have contacts. £32 is a very good price.

The Delta door bins are super cool....

there is a much better way to fix it. i have made a metal strip that fixes to the heater mount.but as most think that the cost is to high so there is no point me spending anymore time or money on it to make a loss.

Any of these still available Miniman? What sort dimensions are they? Where did you get them made if you don't mind me asking? If you none left, I'll look at order some myself.

I've used the cup holder from the rear seat of a Rover 75 and inserted it into my centre console, just below the air vents.

Nice idea Littlegizmo

I don't have a centre console, and i'm really reluctant to too, so i'm just after one of these 'half console' cup holders. Really hope i can get hold of one.

is there any such thing as one that comes out of the ashtray?
eg the exact same size which then folds out in a transfomer type thing (the noise would be cool too)

I'd like one which could under the bottom dash rail on the passenger side. That Seat one looks like it could work, depending on how it could be fixed. It would have to be able to fold/slide away otherwise it will be in the way for a passenger. It would be great to know if anybody has achieved this, I don't really have anywhere else to fix it to with a dashboard and centre console. How do those under dash head unit housings fix? I'm sure something similar could be knocked up for a drinks holder.

It's something which is severely lacking from the Mini, I'd much rather enjoy my KFC Pepsi over a long time rather than having to quickly drink it before leaving.

well with the seat one im fairly sure it isnt too deep that wouldnt fold into the area where the ashtray is already. but as for the shelf underneath the passenger area i was thinking it would slide off? unless therer was again a cup sised indentation in it, and the centre console thing im sure would get in the way of the heater, or at least it would for me. i dont even know how the ashtray fits in, im guessing from the dashboard being taken off?
