Can somebody explain to me what connectors at the back of a 1275GT tacho are supposed to be connected to what?
My mini for some reason doesn't have the correct wires coming out of the loom for the tacho, so I'm gonna have to run em myself, but I don't know where to put them.
Basically there's two bullet connectors on the back of the tacho, one of them I have a wire going to it (the wire has a female connector on it, and IIRC white w/ black). I do not have a wire for the other connector and will need to run the wire myself!
Need help with wiring!

There should be two bullet connectors coming from the loom, one female one male. Can you check where the male one goes to?

One should be a Lucar conector (flat blade) and that is an Earth
Only the later cars had this wire fitted as standard.

I think ive figured it out but according to my 1275GT, the tach is connected to both the positive and negative sides of the coil! is this correct? it also has a brown spade earth going to it from the main instrument cluster
