I have just removed the inlet manifold to remove the head.

Their is a steel ring that fits inside the head and the inlet manifold, one is deformed. I was going to replace it but I have just seem in a mini mag an article about replacing injection minis with carbs, this states that the ring should only be fitted on the injection manifold, is this correct.

Cheers Ben.

Some do some don't it all depends on the inlet manifold... but eitherway it's not realy an issue, as it's only there to help locate the inlet..
