Many thanks, yep the boys are doing some top work.

So, as I may have said, engine work pretty much done - barnett clutch, new rotor, stator, plugs and baffle in. Still need a voltage regulator and the coil sticks and waiting for a new air temp. sensor but have got hold of the coolant sensor and exup servo and all the mods are done for the pro-m kit. Got the baffle from Johnathan Rarity who was really helpful and Larry at PDQ in Taplow has worked on the engine and been brilliant - they've got a rolling road there specififcally for BECs which they put together themselves so hope to get it set up on there in the end.

In even better news, Dave Kimberley, who I bought all the GRP from, has now built up the engine and frame - I hope the pics below go down well. The more people work with the pro-m kit the better it seems they like it and comment on how well thought out and made it is. Few bits outstanding on this part of the build but getting there.

Lots more fabrication to bring you soon as well.

Al

Looks like a good bit of kit.

I've got some lowered ball joint spacers too :)

I don't know if that is just a mock up but your steering arms still need a locking tab under the bolts

I think i asked this before but the forum messed up since, where are you getting the cage done? Like the look of 'matts' work and am after a custom cage for my car.

Lovely build by the way!

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Yep, everyone needs some lower ball joint spacers in their lives.

Good spot on the steering arms, that was part of the reason I posted so many detailled shots, just wanted to make sure all was well... I'm missing the spring from the tensioner at the moment as well.

Matt is at Mintec in Newton Abbot nr. Exeter, drop me a message and I can give you his email/no. he's a talented man.

Thanks for the reply, that's a little bit to far away from me. A shame as the work he's done on your car looks great!

Front coilovers arrived too and Matts done some top and bottom mounts which are pretty special! Lads at Protech were incredibly quick and helpful, and the coilovers are top quality by all accounts. 400lb springs, hopefully they will do the job.

Tank finally sorted (I think!) and dash pod and steering column coming on - progress pics of these to follow soon.

Good job on the pedal box. Do the masters sit in the bulkhead cross member? Can't wait to see the other pics. Gives me some ideas for mine

Thanks lads, yep, dead pleased with it all, love the look of the top mounts from the front, Matt wanted to make sure we avoided that vertical shock position or indeed negative angle which you sometimes get with off the shelf options, should hopefully work a lot better as well!

The pedal box only has a clutch master cylinder on it at the moment but we were all keen to avoid any of it having to poke through the bulkhead so we carefully sorted out the seat position and all the controls to make sure it could sit 'in' the car - should just have three small holes with lines coming through on engine bay side.

Worth a shot!
