Hi Guys, finally thought I have my 'Gonzo' ready with the R1 Promotive conversion and went out for a test drive on Wednesday after having changed the jets from 145 to 160s. Seems like it didnt go as smoothly as desired and I might have broken the engine or clutch... check out the movie:
Well, I'd love some suggestions but already planning to put in another engine which I have spare during this weekend and to try and get it all sorted by the 11th of April, for it's first trackday event.
In case you're wondering, it's a Clubman estate,
front mounted alloy rad.,
spax adjustables + smootharides doughnuts,
Tripple silencer (no backbox) 2" exhaust system, custom made by Maniflow
4pot Minisport brakes 7.9",
10" rims and A032 Yokos,
Quife dif,
promotive reverse box,
etc, etc,..
Looking for some pointers if possible, especially if it seems like I'm doing something wrong.
I'll try to add some picks for the car and engine swap during th weekend or next week.
