Having read this thread I'm just gonna throw my tuppence worth in here about the & anti BMW slogan window stickers. Back in the day when BMW killed the classic mini, launched the BINI & sold off/broke up Rover, the appearance of the anti BMW slogan stickers on the classic mini scene was both amusing & rather poignant, I even had one myself. But over a decade has passed since all that kicked off and to be honest the novelty really has worn off now!

Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of the Bini and nor do I think that it has any place in the classic mini scene, but that doesn't stop me from thinking that the slogans are just a bit tired and getting rather boring now. These days every time I see an anti BMW slogan sticker I can't help thinking "that's a bit sad", or "there's another person who clearly missed the boat and has now decided to jump on the bandwagon a decade or so too late", which incidentally is exactly the same way I feel about people who still insist on wearing Kurt Cobain T shirts in this day and age!

So please..... get yourself a timeless slogan or one that is new, current and witty, not just another dull anti BMW slogan. When it comes to those I've had over a decade of reading them now and to be honest when it comes to those I've heard it all before!!

My other Mini has a V8

I'm tempted to have that one made, have it at the top of the rear screen. I might play around with the words a bit, not sure if runs a v8 is better than has a v8?
