"Strawberry Magic". It's a mid 90's children's PC game. It's very rare, and i don't think it sold many copies, but some people remember it, or know of it. I'm trying to secure a copy as a present for someone but it's proving a very difficult task. The search engines will only give the tiniest of details, like the games plot. What i need to know is the name of the developer or publisher, or the name of a company/business that sells/has a large collection of 90's computer games.

If it jogs any memories, the plot involved a young boy being turned into a strawberry (by magic), and being transported to a strawberry world.

This forum has thousands of members, i'm sure someone once played or owned this game.

Nope, they're poles apart. Shortcake is what the damn search engines kept popping up with. If i did manage to find a copy (they do exist hah) i think my girlfriend (whom the game is for) might want to marry me

It's a daunting task, without a doubt. I need to find some sort of video game archive. But it needs to be a pretty extensive one.

Ok.

Now this is a bit of a long shot, so depends how much you want to marry her....

It was published by Scops Software Ltd, of Farnham, but they seemed to go bust in 1997. someone else has tried contacting the man in charge, but he apparently has nothing left from the venture.

Here are some clicky

Here comes the long shot. In January, a seller 'claire4872' sold a copy on eBay as part of a 4 disc set (item no - clicky)

It was sold to an eBayer called 'kochanneo' - heres a link to his profile clicky

You could send him a message and beg for a copy/ to buy it off him.

Hope this helps.

The only reference I can find using Google is to a blog where someone has said that they bought a copy on Ebay - It's dated 22/January/2010 and they are clearly in the UK as they mention Tesco in one of the entries. I'd suggest pinging them an email to see if they are willing to sell it to you.

Can you tell I'm bored at work?

I do believe I may have found it for you, the page is in Hebrew, but translates well (at least it does if you're using Chrome)

Hopefully this is a screenshot of what you want

Attached File  strawberry.png   227.54K   10 downloads

This is the link to where I found it Here

If this can't be played in English try searching the abandonware sites, tons of old games you forgot/didn't even know existed!

Hope this helps

Oli
