I have Mini Pickup and need desperately to reduce the noise while I am driving. I see allot of what you have listed will be of no use to me, will you have a kit for the Pickup? Also the Bulkhead area on the sides of the spedo, will you have stuff for this area as well?

Thank You

Is the kit semi rigid?

As in could you simply apply a caret set over it? or will the carpet set still need a layer underneath to support itself on over the runs on the floor?

We will be doing a pickup kit as soon as possible, along with a full bulkhead soundproofing kit. Its just a matter of time whilst we get together all the cutting jigs/templates etc.

If you PM me your email address I can put you on the pickup notification list.

Regards,
Sam

Its reasonably rigid but not as much as say a moulded carpet. It will stay in place however and can be glued/taped where required.

Thought you might all like some pictures.

This isnt the finished product, its the prototype kit being test fitted but it gives an idea. We have also switched to a foam base on the material to allow better compression around things like trim, under the seat bars etc.

All kits will be supplied with a roll of aluminium tape as well for covering the joins which will make it look great when fitted.

Do you happen to have just a single piece for the engine bay side of the bulk head? I desperately want to remove my original sound deadening which is beginning to look awful and would love something tidy to replace it with.

Many Thanks

Just thought id mention, maryquant included one of these in the sale of the mini i had off him, and they seem to be very good quality and fit well. The carpets etc fit nice on top, you wouldnt know its there! Easy to fit too, no fiddling about like with other kits!

There is quite a price difference between the material I sell at the moment and the self adhesive bitumin stuff. This price difference is reflected in performance though. I would say that on a bench test the bitumin product would probably come out better in performance (depending on the thickness).

We are currently sourcing a bitumin product to make into pre-cut kits but china is causing a hold up.

Entirely up to you - I think If i compared the two methods in a 'double-blinds' sort of test they would be similar based on opinions.
