Fitted my earlier A+ build into my MPi. Now the fun of fitting the front mounted rad..  :whistling:  :dontgetit:  :errr:

Changed the oil & filters, coolant next weekend before Stratford festival of motoring and more shows in the coming weeks.

Purchased a 1275 shortblock, rebuilt, +30 Pistons, new bearings etc, AEG510 cooper S cam fitted. Oh and that's built, not parts.
All for THIRTY DOLLARS!
That's about £15

Yesterday, did the inner and outer cv boots on both sides, and greased up all the nipples etc.

 

Tightened up rear wheel bearings etc.

Fitted all the lights and put a battery on. Got everything working (once I found a headlamp that went astray :shy: ) but now the hazards have packed up :mmkay:

Fitted new 5.6 mm rubber injection fuel pipe to my new 5.65mm copper fuel pipe both ends ready to connect up my facet redtop fuel pump interruptor and facet works regulator for when they arrive.

Drive shafts next

Ball joints re-shimmed and some welding done on the offside rear floor + all being sealed.

Finally got the hazards working :proud:  The flasher unit connector block fell to bits when I prized the unit out, connections where knackered and corroded so made up some new connections and all working. Just one number plate light to replace and that's the elecrics done.

What spares did you order? I've got plugs, leads, fanbelt, dizzy cap and rotor arm (electronic ignition so no points), various screws, cable ties and bodge it tape. I'm thinking fuses would be a good idea but I'm not sure if there should be anything else.
