Slathered the front seams in filler to hide the dodgy fitting wings! :)

Celebrated 33 years of ownership, bought to learn to drive on August 15th 1984 as a bog standard harvest gold mini 1000, last of the round tunnel mk3's and modified over the next 33 years.....

Put it back in the garage to get the Commer on the drive for a wash and polish, Tatton Park show at the weekend so the campers need to be shiny

washed is, polished it, vacuumed it. looked at it then put it back in the garage

Emptied the puddle if water from the passenger footwear, God knows where the water is getting in..... Anyhow got it ready for its first Minifest at the weekend, just need to give it a wash and Polish.....

Discovered why I've been smelling petrol / fumes all week, bloody castrol valve master leaked through the boot floor into the rear seat squab..

Fitted some new Nankang NS-2R's (175/50/13) to the front to replace my old and worn Maxxis.. these tyres are cheaper and give a lot more traction so i'm happy :)

Fitted my new exhaust. Bought this off eBay for £20 off Moss Europe which is a proper bargain.

Took the mini for a quick spin after fitting it and does seem quieter which is what I want as my old play mini exhaust was so loud and draining on long runs

Decided to take the Mini for a run to Herne Bay to see the car show, the car performed really well, the only problem was I had the wrong date the car show is next weekend, I had a great day though lots of nice Mini roads and lots of classic cars enjoying the good weather.

Got the Mini out ready to attend the Herne Bay classic car show today, when I noticed some paint missing from the wheel arch, on closer inspection it would appear that the car must have been hit when parked at Herne Bay the previous week, I now have creased A panel, dented wing, scuttle panel and a bonnet and door that are out of alignment.

I am not a happy bunny but I do hope the gets there come up-pence in some way if there is any justice in the world.
