Fitted Minispares stage 1 kit today.

The Manifllow exhaust manifold went in easy with the rocker cover off.

Inlet manifold flange is at a slightly different angle than the original so I had to ditch the carb spacer to avoid the carb jet making contact with the bulkhead.

Exhaust fitted very nicely. The mini started up first time and sounds great. Now I need to get it out on a little test run then get it booked in for a rolling road tune.

Does anyone have any recommendations for rolling road tuning in Yorkshire?

Depends where in Yorkshire but Bogg Brothers in Malton are worth a call.

Thanks Graham

I have had a quick look on their website. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Bolted on the supercharger, added the new breathers.
Just a trial fit obviously.

Seeing as though the weather was nice, I took her for a blast...... to the shops & back (bit pushed for time).

Then detailed the paintwork & polished up the interior plastics ready for show season.

Oh, & finally paired up my phone to the stereo (Bluetooth style). It’s only been 2 years!

Was never satisfied with the fit of the 3 clocks dash that the previous owner had fitted.
The bezel obscured the top part of the clocks.
So decided to remove the dash to see what’s what.

New dash might be on the cards!

Been working slowly at getting my '64 Traveller back on the road after a 3 year rest and upgrade project. Today being a work day I haven't got really anything done except I ordered some spring loaded latch clamps for a custom job I'm doing in the boot.

I don;t think so. Have had this problem on and off for a few months, and generally the car doesn't go out in the rain if I know the rain is coming. It does however sit around for weeks, so the tendency for her to lose power and cut out after a short drive could be condensation I guess.  Fully serviced a couple of weeks ago, all new plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm.

Just taken her back to my storage (3 miles inc motorway) and spot on
