Installed new fuel pump, pre-filter, and new rubber lines in the rear and up front.

The best part, I appear to have solved my stalling/completely-not-running problem.

Re-fitted the big sump guard on the 'S' rally car, Waxoyled the repaired A-panel, inside the sills and under the front wings, removed and re-greased the rear sub-frame trunnion bolts.

Chipped the bloody sound deadening off the floors so I can see the good metal. What a pain of a job.

Put the rear window in, gave it a once over then hit the road.
Just a test squirt as it’s still not fully tuned.
OH MY DEAR GOD - - Caution, May cause involuntary bowel evacuation!
So good, I have no real way to describe it, well not with words I can use on here haha

Fitted a DSN steering column drop. Not the easiest of jobs, but worth the effort.

3 days worth here - refurbed the seat brackets and sprayed them, fitted extenders at the same time, located an oil leak and fitted HI-LOs all round. lovely.

Front subframe is now completely detached ready to be removed.

Went about getting doors off as they are the last things to remove before I can crack on with a full resto. Bolts were a pia. Started removing a panel as it's getting replaced only for grinder to pop.

Went to Screwfix to talk about replacement, under two years but their pcs only go back 18 months so need to wait for head office to authorise the replacement.

While I was there bought the Erbauer bolt extractor kit as I can't keep attacking things with a grinder. It's a brilliant piece of kit and removed the tricky one at the top with ease even after the attacks with the grinder. Have full confidence it could do any bolt. Highly recommend everyone has one in their toolkit.

Found a small oil pool on the garage floor at the front of the mini on closer inspection it was a loose oil filter so I have tightened it back up
