Ive looked where the haynes manual says the fuse box should be(on the bulk head near the brake fluid thing) and its not there. Does anyone know where else it could be?

Its a 1970 mini
Thanks

What does an earth look like on a wiring diagram? Is it a series of lines decreasing in length in a triangle shape?

I've got a '72 850 and the fuse box is on the offside inner wing just opposite the clutch housing, only has 2 fuses in it.

I did see a black box thing down by the gear box with a big black wire going to it with a couple of wires clipped on to it. Think it might be the starter solenoid.
