Hi Guys

I have finally got my new mini project to somewhere where I can keep it an work on it - meaning I can get rid of some stuff I don't want.

Please could someone give me an idea of the value of a complete genuine cabrio body kit? Something like this one

Posted Image

Its complete, both sides, both bumpers and all the fog lights...

The other thing I have is a rear windscreen plastic cover thing thing to fit a mini, a bit like you got on 70's fords to stop glare from the sun... I can't find a picture at the moment though

I will try to sort some pictures later - but im at a friends and its not soo easy!

have you got any other rover mini cabrio bits?
but on ebay you'd probs get about 100 depending on condition
but a new rep kit is about £220 - £300 from a shop

pretty similar
but the rover mini has spotlights and foglights
and the era doesnt but the body kit slightly slopes up to were the numberplate usually is
and on the rover its alot flatter

hard to explain Lol

I don't quite follow what you are saying there :s

I have no idea what it came off to be honest, it came with my '82 HL project car (which I am restoring absolutely as standard). The kit has rover marks all over it, and I think each part is stamped with a part no...

There was a speight of these louvres making utterly stupid money - Mostly around £150, but I think there was a post on here about one going for £300+! :D

Bit silly if you ask me, but eBay would be your best bet! :teehee:

I remember them going for quite a bit but didn't realise that much, almost seems a waste to fix it on with a little slice of metal under the window seal

don't think I'd pay that much to be honest
