I honestly can't see any metro ( what ever condition ) making more than 1k
There have been a number of 'low mileage' examples floating around the for sale boards, autotrader and ebay, and so far I've not seen one sell, they just keep appearing...

What have you lot been on? .... Lou Reed?™
Values of £2K to £3k for a car that can only be described as a "Council Gritter" ™
It will be some Merchant Banker™ that parts with a nugget over a grand for that
Geezers ... I am disappointed in you all ....
EDIT: At least Guessworks talks sense!

Yep an one- er is on the money but it was described as museum choc chip.
If you find the right buyer it could go for big mullar 2 g + for a collector / speculator. It is the usual deal when no one has any confidence in the housing market and punters who want to punt put there nappy rash in old cars and bikes.
Anthing less than museum condition has it settled around the bad of sand mark
Another option would be to throw some 12 x 6's on it take some gas out of the suspension and put it on Retro rides?? Cheap car for a learner , classic cheap insurance? Retro cool!!!

I'm with Guess Works on this one. I don't see a metro whatever shape it's in getting over 1k. Yeah there are these people on websites advertising them for silly money, like the one above but it doesn't mean they've sold or are going to sell for that much. Metros aren't worth F all to be honest. People buy them for there engines, because it's the good thing about them, there good engines. The minis have got the better looks ect.. and the metros, the engines.
