Anyone got any tips on how to pollish an ally grill??

I want to get rid of all the black paint on it and have it all in ally, like the one on the cover of the current issue of Mini Mag.

all i do is use a tooth brush and some crome pollish and just get the these corners, then just wipe one bar at a time...

that the way i do mine.

strip it, and use wet/dry get it nice and smooth
then get the metal polish with the buffer on the end of a drill out, that will shoon shine it up

Rich if its alloy then no need to strip the paint, simply get some sanding paper and sand the paint off. Then use a finer grit and finally polish it up...

just put laquer thinner on a rag and rub real hard and the paint will just melt off then go back with some metal or chrome polish and voila.
