G'day All,
Do these casting numbers mean anything?
Cast on the head beside the thermostat housing.
The 5J 3 (red) is off a '73 Moke 1100
the 10 A4 is from a transverse A series, but no other id avail.
Cheers!

Not realy, the main casting number is normall between the 4th and 5th pushrod holes which determins the type of head..
The rest is normally indicated by the engine number of the block from when it came, like valve sizes etc, and this is especially true for 1275 heads for which pretty much all are 12G940 castings.
