Taff was just brilliant - what a lover of life and all things good and what a fabulous family man- he worshipped you and the family. I am glad you didn't mind all is Minis stuff and Dr Who memorabilia- he was so into it all wasn't he ? It is so awful that he's not here, but it must be heartwarming to know you spent all that time together and have a wonderful family as a result. For us Mini people he was absolutely the best. Him and I used to chat a load of old Mini stuff behind the scenes ( things that you would have died of boredom from hearing, but it was often political stuff- poor old Taff was being used as a sounding board for and he always had the right answers !) He was also the fountain of all knowledge where us Mini nuts are concerned, but no one could get anywhere near his passion for these cars. He had something to offer each and every one of us and knew what our Mini passions were

I have a Cooper called Mostyn which amused him as he had an uncle by the same name- that was good !!!!

He was a legend on the scene and I know that no one is going to forget him in a hurry. I owe him an email about Supers (he PM'd me on the Mini Cooper Register) but I bet he knows I am working on it !!!! I still find this hard to accept so I hope you are coping /surviving OK. I dont know if I have missed it or dont what to get into trouble or upset anyone for asking, but I chatted with taffy over PM's etc and felt like I knew him quite well, but how did he pass?
