Hi All

Am thinking about buying a set of smoked crosshair Mk2 Golf headlights for my Pickup. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of fitting Golf headlights to a Mini. I'm pretty sure they are 7" bowls with an extra bit of metal bracket clipped to the back, but have never actaully managed to get hold of one in real life to have a look.

Anyone fitted them?

Cheers
Dan ;D

That's what I'm after! Will have to get a copy of that and have a look. I want to put the smoke crystal crosshair ones in my pickup, I think it will look awesome with the carbon bumpers and overriders :) Hopefully! Trying to get a cheap normal MK2 headlight to practice on.

If I remember rightly, the Golf headlights have 4 small brackets on them which make up a square mounting for the Golf front panel, they will need cut off to be used on a Mini I think.

theres no real info on how he mounted them in the mag tho it just sais that he had to add about 5 mm to the cage that they sit in to get them to fit.
so might have to just get some headlights and look how they fit and make the brackets yourself.

just reading the article about this mini with the mk2 headlights, in his thank you's at the end he says "everyone on the mini forum" so he might be on here, its a z-cars, baby blue with white roof, r1 engine in the back, lotus elise seats, and his names dean meeson, so if hes on here might be worth asking him about his headlights.
