Really nice service, he had a great send off, what with all the talk of minis and the italian job playing in the background Expected a few more minis, but I understand how hard it was for some people to get there, and how short notice it all was. But it was awesome to see the people who made it all that way, well done guys!

got to agree with Danny, a real nice send off,
think it was about 14 minis that turned up
they let us all park in the crematorium which is something they don't normally allow.

It's touching how people have responded to Taffy's sad demise, a shared interest in a great little car, but also great sense of community. I imagine it has been some comfort for Taffy's nearest 'n dearest.

it was a really nice send off for Taffy, lovely wreaths from the mini community and it was really nice to have the italian job music playing in the service. RIP Taffy

Glad to hear he had a peaceful and calm send off, he'll never be forgotten thats for sure.
Had a break from working on my mini this afternoon, thinking of all those that that attended, his family and friends and of course the main guy himself - Darrly Turner. Rest in peace buddy.

Here are some pictures from the funeral. Mainly showing the Minis outside the crematorium, but also the flowers. Unfortuneately the undertakers did not realise that "TAFFY" and "1967" went together...never mind the sentiment was there. Marie put on a brave face and was brilliant. I gave her best wishes from all of us.
