Hi, I saw a cheap pre 76 mini clubman speedo cable for sale on an auction site. Im just wondering if it will fit my 78 mini 1000? Im going to mount my speedo cable infront of the driver.

some advices needed~~~ The cable has the screw-on connection at both the speedo and gearbox ends and the speedo is off a classic mini copper.

the attached image is the one for sale

Thanks in advance

that one in your picture is for a centre binnacle Speedo and will not fit the clocks infront of the steering wheel!
Sorry, on the upside, I do have a clubby out the back of my house that I'm about to chop up! it has a speedo cable that will be going!! interested??

On the later models the speedo cable changes depending on the type of dials you have too... Smiths have a grey plastic end, where-as Nippon have a White Plastic and Metal end..
