i searched the mini colour guide and i found that surf blue is listed with 2 different colour codes:
Surf Blue - BU35
Years: 61-64

Surf Blue - JEN (BLVC1239)
Years: 98-01

Thats the same or they have any difference in the appearance of the colour?

The two colours are different, the later surfblue is a lighter shade than the earlier.

Mine is BU35, but i fitted a later numberplate light housing (that would be JEN - BLVC1239 paint code) and I cant tell the difference....if there is one, it is very slight. I've not got a photo of the back end with the new numberplate light on yet.....

When you see them like that then there is a difference !

Both, IMO look good ( but then I am biased ).
