I spent £600 on my first turbo a series engine and it was 150BHP. I used it as my daily for 2 years and only replaced the waterpump due to a 'failure' (probably due to being years old itself).

Now if thats not reliable and putting out over 100bhp I don't know what is?! Its not how much you spend, its what you know and where you spend the money. ;D

im so pleased most people are now realising that engine conversions on minis isnt they way to go.
a well built A series is a good engine.very tough.
but as with any poorly built engine they will not last long if a monkey builds it.
